We Are All Connected edition by Barry Robin SelfHelp eBooks

We Are All Connected is a truly uplifting book. It has a sunny disposition and lifted my mood. This book gets across a very important message with an even more important underlying context which is unity in diversity. Today's world has become more disconnected at an underlying level even though there is more acceptance of each other. We still treat others differently. We Are All Connected serves to prove despite all our differences, we are indeed connected on a larger level. We are connected by God, we are connected by Earth, etc. etc.

What made me smile about this book is the way the author has brought about the concept. It is absolutely fun. There are amusing lovable characters with names and entire personalities. And some of them are inanimate! It's like watching puppets on TV teaching us the importance of accepting everyone and treating everyone with love and respect. Kind of like that.

Really nice book. Everyone should read it.

We Are All Connected edition by Barry Robin SelfHelp eBooks Reviews

We are all connected by Barry Robin it is a book that tries to take the reader to a moral that is “we are all connected”. The book starts with a cockroach that the little girl of the family is trying to save, because mother kills them all and father almost the same, when I read this I really thought this book is not for me, I hate those insects because I think they are very dirty and after being who knows where they come to your pantry and are over the plates, kitchen tools and if they can even the food, so I did not hit it off with the first page of the book, but I keep reading and I see what the author is trying to do, to get from the least being to the most being in order to connect us all. The book is well written, in a very cheerful way, it makes me smile more than once and finally he convinced me that we are all connected, but not for God, even when that is his principal support, we are all connected by nature, I enjoyed the book is a simple way to see and pursue a better life.
Okay, I must say that the book contains something that many people are already aware of but refuse to take it as their truth. We Are All Connected is a book that simply shows us how all of us are connected to one another, no matter where we came from, what language we speak, what our skin color is, or what are our religious and political beliefs. The idea is that, if all people, like everyone, would acknowledge this truth then this world is such a great place to live in.

What I like the most about the book is that it was written in a super fun way. It was too cheery that the reader would definitely smile while turning the pages (well, I did!). It was a good move that I have read this on a Sunday night, because it effectively provided me the motivation and the mood that would need the following day. Life is too challenging most of the time, and here is something that will give us a break from all the chaos around us, and give us the opportunity to think about how grateful we should be for each morning that we wake up.
Barry Robins " We are all Connected" is a strange, yet interesting read...(at least this was my thought as I began reading this book.) I started reading this book curious to understand the writer's perspective. Was I surprised...? Yes, totally! The way Barry depicts our connection is amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation between the little girl and her parents, as she stood in defense to the little cockroach on their kitchen floor... who eventually ended up dead. However, the concept with the stories is splendid. It's a read where you have to read and internalize, seize the moment and ponder on our existence. Why we exist. Whom do we exist to be? How will we continue to exist?

..Read the Ripple List for heaven sakes! And, "never forget we are all connected."
What a beautiful read.
This is the author's second published book. He has been creating music, videos, stories, plays, screenplays and cartoons for all of his life. The style that he has in the first book, Creating Your Own Déjà vu, is a method presented, in a fun way, to assist the readers in accomplishing their dreams.

This book—We Are All Connected—explores, in many different ways, how we are all connected.

As with anything the author does, it is meant to invoke thought, fun, exploration, helpful ideas and laughter; if you experience any of these, then the book has been a success for you. We Are All Connected, Creating Your Own Déjà vu and the next book that he is working on is all purposed to help you live a happier life.

It was a real pleasure to read this carefree, fast-paced and fun work of knowledge and spirituality. It is a booklet spreading connectivity, spirituality, happiness and joy. It motivates the reader to develop a sense of belonging to all of God's creations.

Excerpt

“There is enough space for everyone! And let us not forget that we are all connected! God exists in every insect, every tree, every flower, every animal, every human, and everything!”

CHAPTER 8 of the booklet is titled "I See God In Everything"

The author has a colourful way of dialogue, by giving some of his characters names of colours. Looking at the front cover, you experience the same colour spread of hands, bringing humanity and the universe together in an unifying whole. No borders, no division.

In one of his Chapters the author gives one of his characters, Vincent a role as a part Italian, but shows he is also part African, Native American, Scottish, Spanish, Russian, Jewish, Brazilian and Chinese. Connecting via DNA, with those to whom he belongs, make him feel a part of the world !

And that goes for all of us too.

Excerpt

"You too are connected to everyone and everything that has ever been and will ever be. You are connected to me, and I am connected to you. When you realize that we are all connected, you will never feel alone. When you realize that we are all connected you will realize that every good action helps everyone to feel good. We may be connected by DNA. We may be connected by love. We may be connected by God and the Universe. We may be connected because we all live on the same planet that is in the same solar system that is in the same universe."

The author shows that like the variety of colors he personifies, Ted is overcome with a myriad of emotions that include, but are not limited to, amazement, curiosity, surprise, enchantment, adventure and creativity, when he visited a realm beyond Earth, in another universe.

The author pointed at the shrinking Earth with his mind’s eye. There, babies were being born, and people were dying, at the same time. Life and death coexisted in the same moment. Ted had his paint brush, paints, and canvas, he would be painting all the planets as he saw them, but for now he would have to be satisfied with the paint brush in his mind. As an artist you can paint the world in any way you want and you can create your own reality. But you can’t change their reality said Ted.

Character Red says

“That is where you are(Ted) wrong. You can change reality on your planet. You are doing so every day, painting by painting and thought by thought!” said Red with much enthusiasm.

“But what you don’t understand is that the thoughts of one person in a state of love and creativity is more powerful than the thoughts of millions in a state of disconnectedness,” said Character Green.

The author has a special capacity to think thoughts and give advice to live beyond mere survival. He distinguishes between helpful and un helpful thoughts.

Excerpt

“Thoughts are more diverse than that,” said Raspy Green, “but then you would know that because you are an artist. You know that there are as many nuances to a thought, as there are varieties of colors possible on a canvas.”

Novelists, poets, philosophers, and creative thinkers in any field of endeavor. “It is the creative geniuses of your world that have of your world that have often transcended time and space and have spread love throughout the universe through the pure energy of their loving thoughts,” said Red. To create a masterpiece, you make a canvas your life. Your paintbrush your thoughts and actions. The colors are your moods and intentions.

“They create every time they think a thought, speak a word, take a body pose, and do an action.” “The highest thought and action that a human can take is one of Love,” added Blue. “When a thought and/or action is guided by Love, it is the beginning of a Masterpiece!”

“The way we see it is that if you connect yourself to the Love of the Universe, from that vantage point, you will then be able to look at everything through the eyes of love and compassion.... and God

“Why divide yourself by region, or gender, or race, or tribe, or religion, or idea when you can be connected to everything through the force of unconditional, universal, intergalactic, multi-dimensional love!” said Red with great enthusiasm.

The author endevours the replacement thoughts and habits. Changing of habits is helpful. Strengthening your own link in turn helps strengthening the connection of us all. The helpful thoughts are the good part of your program. Here is an example list of thoughts

This writing is an example of how all of us could view our lives from moment to moment. You could call this guide an essay/poem/motivational writing/life meditation with lots of tips to correct and connect your life. The author shows how we can get that, that can affect our feeling of connectedness. So we should have rules for ourselves to ensure that we get what we want in a healthy way.

In the booklet is a possible set of rules that you can have for your life Personal Rules for Living a Happy and Connected Life. He also gives an overview of all we are connected to and shows the rippling effect of changing thoughts and intent.

It is a book to love and live.
