This beautifully-illustrated book is a must-have for fans of Tinker Bell and her fairy friends from Pixie Hollow, the magical realm where they all dwell in happiness and prosperity.

I got this book to read to my preschooler and though the text itself is a bit too advanced and dense for her age group, I sort of condensed it for her enjoyment and of course, the gorgeous illustrations enhanced our appreciation of the book.

This well-compiled book basically answers questions one may have about Pixie Hollow and its inhabitants - how does one identify a Never Fairy, how do fairies come to exist?, where exactly do fairies make their home [the home tree], and so on.

There is quite a bit of coverage on the various inhabitants of Pixie Hollow, especially the Queen of the realm, the beautiful Queen Clarion, and of course, the different categories of fairies, such as Prilla, the mainland-visiting Fairy, Tinker Bell the tinker fairy, etc. It also explains the importance of Mother Dove, and why she is so venerated by the fairies.

The illustrations play an important role in this book, as they provide a visual way of appreciating the various delights offered in Pixie Hollow, be it the beautiful fairies, the special rooms [ Tearoom, Lobby, Library], the clothing worn by the fairies and so on.

All in all, I'd highly recommend this book for those who are fans of Tinker Bell and Pixie Hollow and also for those who appreciate fairies in general. It's a fun and interesting read that will have you clamoring for more!

This book has amazing and beautiful illustrations, plus a lot of great information about the Never Fairies! My 5 year old LOVES reading this and her older girl cousins LOVE reading it to her! Perfect for any girl who is interested in fairies!
Bought this for myself since I just love looking through it and learning about their lives ) Very cute book.
This was a Christmas gift to a 6 year old, but I thoroughly enjoyed looking at it myself. The illustrations are very pretty and I would say each of the 140 pages in it has at least one picture on it. You can flip to any page and read a short story or history to a child and they can enjoy the photos. Right now my daughter is flipping through the pages, telling me what different things she learned about faeries on each page. And the price with is the best, I have yet to find it cheaper, this is worth the money they are asking for such a nice, large hardback book.
Was a bit more bent than described, but it's mostly just to the outside cover than the actual contents, so it wasn't that much of an issue. The seller also hid a surprise New York keychain in there, which was kind of cute. Overall, a fantastic buy for a book I used to love!
If you have a child who is obsessed with fairies and especially the Tinkerbell fairies, this book is delightful. Everything you ever wanted to know about fairies is in here. We read something out of it every day and have used the secret fairy language to write them a note (and received an answer) and have left them their favorite snacks and drinks. Did YOU know that every time a baby laughs for the first time, a fairy is born? Now you know.
My daughter is fairy royalty and she approves of this book. As a high ranking princess of the fairies she is uniquely qualified to critique publications which detail the secrets of the fairy world. If you want a peek into who does what and why things happened, then this is a book for you. It coordinates perfectly with the other Tinkerbell books and provides additional insight to the fairies that your child knows best. From Mother Dove down to the fairy dust tree... it is all here. It is clearly written by real fairies who know what they are talking about and it gets the royal stamp of approval from Princess Adrienne the first.
I can't add anything in terms of the content of this book which other reviewers haven't covered-- particularly the generous soul who took the time to video the page turning of this gorgeous marvel (whom I credit, in fact, with my own decision to buy this), so what I will add is that I bought this as a Bargain Book from , and in fact, took a chance and bought 12 various bargain books in my last order. Of all of the books, I bought 3 copies of this one, and while it did have a sticker on it identifying it as such, it was not at all obnoxious in any way, was easily removed from the dust jacket, and there was no line through the sides of the pages or anything else that would make it look like anything other than what it is-- a perfectly gorgeous book. I bought 3 so that I could pick the best to give as gifts and keep the most obvious bargain for my daughter, but all three were absolutely perfect, and I'm considering stocking up on a few more for gift-giving. You won't find a more perfect gift out there for all the girls who love whimsy.
