Take Three is the third in the "Above the Line" series by Karen Kingsbury. I'm a fan.

I do enjoy how this book deals with the real life struggles of Christians. So much is out there that wants to make people think that everything in a Christian's life is a walk in the park when it just isn't true. Kingsbury tends to write about "real life" in a way that helps you see that all of us have struggles.

In this particular book, the characters continue their quest to produce Christian-themed movies that make a difference. I think that's one of the things that attracts me to this series, the characters striving to make a difference. I think that's just what any of us want to do in life. And yet, they are also dealing with real life issues which cause them to question their priorities and figure out how it all fits together.

I'm a fan and definitely recommended this series and others to someone who wants a good read these days.

Had a hard time putting it down. Stayed up one night until 4 AM. Cannot wait to start Take Four.
Am so in love with this series of books can hardly wait to read game 4 of makes you feel like you are right there with them all.have read so many of her books and have loved all of them she is a awesome writer love that she makes it so full of God and his love.
I read Take One, had to get Take Two and then I read this book, Take Three, very well written and great story line. I am now on Take Four.
I Would highly recommend reading this series.
I've been reading books by Karen Kingsbury for a couple of years. Each one causes me to praise the Lord, that He gave her such a talent to share with us. The Above The Line series just makes my heart stop at times. I like the fact that she lets us know that Christians fall, and fail and still can find their way back to God.

Take Three is the best of the series in my opinion. The writing is so clear and draws you right into the life of these characters. I feel like crying for some and like cheering for others. I think the thing I like most is that I can always find someone I "know" in her stories. Someone like me or one of my friends.

I do highly recommend Karen Kingsbury and especially this series.
Vast improvement over the last book, Take Two. The story moved quickly and I loved Karen's comment in the afterword about the characters taking over their own fate in this book. We'd had enough torture with the Bailey/Tim couple and the character needed to break up with him! About time! Some parts of the book were unrealistic but I read to escape to another world; so I just shake my head and move on. I'm looking forward to finishing up this series.
What a page Turner! We do serve an amazing and faithful God! This was a great story of the struggles one goes through; but it only intensified when the one struggling turned away from God. God truly was with each one of the characters even when they weren't aware of Him. Can't wait to read book 4.
A friend gave me TAKE ONE and TAKE TWO in paperback after she finished them. They have been sitting on my shelf for quite a while, but once I started I was hooked! I had to buy TAKE THREE for my and I finished it quickly. You get to know the characters and love them, even when they exasperate you! I appreciate Karen Kingsbury's realistic portrayal of Christian living in today's culture. The mission field is all around us, and God gives each of us unique talents--like movie-making--to build Christ's kingdom. I also appreciate her ability to convey what grace looks like in action through her characters. I'm anxious to start TAKE FOUR!
